Commentary in the Commentary

I had wanted to add some of my thoughts and recollections with each of the videos, but I didn’t want to mess up the clean look of videos by themselves with my banter. So I’ve decided to add that commentary in of all places, the commentary. It has been many years since I’d been to the video room, so if you feel my recollections are incorrect, please feel free to correct me or add your recollections.

I’ll likely add a video a week. I could dump them all at the same time, but what’s the fun in that. And feel free to make any requests. There are many videos I’m sure I’ve forgotten.

Intro

Back in the late 80’s and early 90’s I was a mid to late teen who frequented Medusa’s.  I loved the big dance room, but I also loved just hanging out in the video room seeing videos to songs you knew but you couldn’t see on TV.  Now with YouTube, we’re able to see those videos again.  I’ll try to post one a week from those that I can remember, but let me know if you have any others you’d like to see.  I may also post videos from bands that were frequently shown, but videos not shown in the video room.  Enjoy.
